I would not book through viator or give them my business ever again. We booked a very expensive tour of Vienna from Prague and the bus never came to pick us up.

I explained this to viator and asked for a refund but they told me the tour company in Prague said WE were not there to be picked up which is a complete lie. So we didn't get our money back (approx 400 Canadian dollars).

Viator does not stand by the end consumer or do anything to protect them from shady tour companies overseas. Don't give them your business, you're better off booking your own trip in person at your destination.

Generally speaking, however, when situations like this arise, we recommend contacting Viator via e-mail (support@viator.com) and including any information about what steps you took to meet the Tour Operator. We do always have to check with the Tour Operator for their side, but having detailed information from our clients is very helpful.

Do make sure you follow any Reconfirmation Instructions as listed on your voucher. If you should get lost, be sure to contact the Tour Operator directly, as they have first-hand knowledge of the city and can let you know where to go.
