First, it takes a long time to get a representative on the phone.
Second, the representatives often don't know anything. I was trying to book a "Circle Tour of Oahu" and the representative thought it was a "Circle Tour of Ohio." Much time was spent trying to educate this representative.
Then, when I tried to cancel the tour, I waited another 30 minutes holding for a representative, and then was promptly hung up on, as the representative, clearly a South Asian, could not hear me (their *** phone connections--I was using a land line."
TripAdvisor used to be good. Now it seems crassly commercial, with poor service to boot. Their tours are expensive; you would think they could imitate a good operator like Amazon.
