I paid for a transfer from the Rome airport to our hotel. Our flight from the states was delayed over an hour causing us to miss our connection in Paris.
Upon being re-scheduled for the next flight I e-mailed them THREE hours prior to our scheduled pick-up time. When I landed in Rome I checked my e-mail only to discover that they were not willing to pick us up at the new time as the assistant was at the airport at the originally scheduled time and since I was not there (DUH...we missed our connection... not our fault) and was considered a no show. Furthermore, they were going to charge us full price for the transfer.
WOW!!!! How is that for Italian hospitality...leave a visitor and her 82 year old mother stranded in the Italian heat after traveling for almost twenty four hours.
They should be ashamed of themselves!!!! I kindly request a full refund as they had PLENTY of time to re-schedule this transfer.
