I purchased a food tour and paid for it. The money was taken out of my account but I did not receive a confirmation from viator.

I called and spoke with customer service and stated all they could do is refund my money which means now it is going be 7 to 10 business days past the trip that I'm paying for the tour on in order for me to get my money back and I still have to pay out almost a 100 more dollars in order to go on the trip that I originally pay full price for already in the first place that they are refunded me.. How is this customer service how am I leaving this conversation in a worse predicament than I was before I chose to use this company this does not make any sense and I will not be using it again.
