I just talked to Harriet about a prospective tour in order to get clarification and additional information. I had difficulty understanding and hearing her because of a scratchy connection and a heavy accent.
When I asked her to speak slowly and enunciate, she hung up on me. Sorry Viator, I can't book with you without sufficient information. I'm also sorry you didn't let me talk to someone else and it's unfortunate you didn't call me back when I was cut off.
There was no effort to accommodate or adjust to the problems of communication in the conversation. If Viator doesn't want to help and takes a dismissive attitude, what is a customer to do other than to look elsewhere?
